Dear Friends
Wishing you a very Happy Christmas!
We dearly hope that you are looking forward to Christmas as much as we are.
Christmas can be a wonderful time and I would like to invite you to join us to celebrate. We hope that we have something on offer that you will enjoy from our joyous and fun Christingle services, our popular traditional Carol service and our Midnight Mass service.
It will be a joy to welcome and meet you at one of these Christmas celebrations.
With our prayers and best wishes

Hello,
I was wondering if it is ok to just turn up for one of the Carol services? We don’t need to book or anything?

Such a terrible shame Christingle is Tuesday 23rd of December this year… this has been a family and community event for so many years and I can’t understand why you have changed the date to a working day for parents! Please can you explain why? Thank you

We are sorry to change the date of our Christingle services. These are very busy occasions and the change is an attempt to ease the pressure on the small number of volunteers who help run our services, who also have other commitments beyond St James, including spending time with their families.
Christmas Eve is particularly busy due to the Christingle services and Midnight Mass, and this year falls on a Wednesday when there is also another service in the morning. We welcome everyone to join us for all of our services and wish you all a happy and peaceful Christmas.
