St James’ Church


The ethos of the church is modern catholic and open to all whatever their age, gender or sexuality. We are called serve the whole people of God within the parish of Milton and Eastney and to all who look to St James Church as their spiritual home. A house of God for the whole people of God. Our main act of worship takes place on Sundays at 9.30am

8am – Mass (said)

9.30am – Parish Mass with Creche and Junior Church

11.30am Baptism (Christening) – 1st Sunday of month

6.30pm – Evensong (with Benediction on 1st Sunday)



Monday



8.30am – Morning Prayer

5.30pm – Evening Prayer



Tuesday



8.30am – Morning Prayer

5.30pm – Evening Prayer

7.00pm – Mass (said) -1st Tuesday of month is a Requiem Mass



Wednesday



8.30am – Morning Prayer

10am – Mass (said) followed by coffee

5.30pm – Evening Prayer



Thursday



No scheduled services.



Friday



8.30am – Morning Prayer

Noon – Mass (said) – 1st Friday of month only

5.30pm – Evening Prayer



Saturday



8.30am – Morning Prayer


St James Church is a member of the Deanery of Portsmouth within the Diocese of Portsmouth and under the care of Christopher our Bishop.
